However you'd like to help

Sponsor a child.
Volunteer.
Start a chapter.

Every path here gets a real kid closer to staying in school — whether that's $50 toward tuition, a few hours of your time, or bringing GYI to your own city.

However you show up, a real kid ends up closer to staying in school.

Ways to help

Pick the one that fits

01

Sponsor a child

A full year of education for one child. Tuition, books, supplies and uniforms, with progress updates back to you.

  • $50 — one full year of school
  • $100 — two full years
  • $150 — three full years
02

Volunteer

Join the team running operations, fundraising and direct student support. Most roles are remote and flexible.

  • Flexible time commitment
  • Remote and in-person roles
  • Skills-based volunteering
03

Start a chapter

Bring GYI to your city. You get our training, materials and network; you keep the autonomy to fit local needs.

  • Three founding members minimum
  • A defined geographic area
  • Chapter leadership training
Where it goes

100% of your donation reaches a student

Not 85%. Not “the majority”. Every dollar donated goes to tuition, books, uniforms and supplies. Our operating costs are covered separately by board contributions, which is why we can say this without an asterisk.

  • $50

    1 year of school

Tuition, books, uniform and supplies for one child

  • $100

    2 years of school

Two full years for one child, or one year for two

  • $150

    3 years of school

Most of a child's primary education, start to finish
